Learn why your confidentiality may be compromised by other sites
Almost all competitive job boards for medical sales jobs ask you to send your resume to them to “store” in their database. They take great efforts to assure you that your confidentiality will not be compromised. They state the reason not to be concerned is that you, the candidate, have the ability to "turn off" your resume from being visible to outside entities.
Many sites sell their candidate databases to recruiters, or other web sites. In addition, we are aware of web sites who allow recruiters access to their database, for a fee paid by that recruiter.
We have heard from many candidates who had thought that their resumes were secure in web site databases, only to have their resumes emailed indiscriminately around the country or sold for marketing purposes. We have also heard that a candidates’ current manager had discovered that his sales rep was “on the market”, looking for a new job!
At The Gorilla, you never have to worry about us selling, utilizing, or compromising your resume, or your profile, to any outside entity. We do not believe that your resume should ever reside in our database. We act strictly as a conduit to allow you to access the recruiter contact information regarding jobs of interest to you, and to submit your resume directly to that recruiter.
Important Tip……. To maintain your confidentiality, when you email your resume to a recruiter for a specific job, simply request that your resume is never presented to another recruiter, or company, unless you authorize them to do so in advance. 99% of medical sales recruiters will honor your request in this regard.
